We are excited to announce our new Climate DataSet map page is now available for general use. Over a year in development, the new map page offers a combined interface for all networks, additional report options and many other features. Two additional network datasets have been added, MesoWest & ISD-Lite. For more details, see the Tutorials.

The ISD-Lite data source is a subset derived from the full Integrated Surface Data (ISD) product provided by the NCDC. ISD consists of global hourly observations compiled from numerous sources and comprises over 20,000 stations worldwide with some having data as far back as 1901. Data is updated monthly and is current to the previous month.

Provisional data is updated from Western Regional Climate Center (WRCC) on a daily basis and is generally 48 hours behind. CRN data is updated on a daily basis from WRCC and is current to the previous day. AWOS is updated every 10 minutes and is current to the hour.
